Today's cryptic is a normal affair - though I am certainly not against creating more themed and collaborative grids in the future.
I'm very pleased at the responses that my puzzles are getting, and it's certainly keeping me engaged with setting and clueing grids - a welcome hobby in these difficult times. I am a big believer in updating the language in both the grid itself and the clues supplied. I am going to endeavour to use more modern language in my puzzles and fewer Shakespearean characters and phrases. It's a big ask, but I'm sure it is possible...
